And just in time too! I have been so busy lately that by the time I get to my unwind mommy time at the end of the day I’m too tired to concentrate on anything even remotely crafty! But, this week my son starts full-day kindergarten, and everything else just seems to be falling into it’s rightful place so nicely that I’ve actually managed to be creative the last couple nights! Thanks in part to some major blog surfing for inspiration! And, I say just in time, because Halloween will soon be upon us, and after that, dare I say it, Christmas is just around the corner! So, here are some Halloween goodies I have been working on so far, and there will be much more to come I am sure!

These are little treat holders, I found the idea for them at I made 18 of them, all different, but I only had 3 pencils kickin’ around so this is all I got photos of.

And a dozen treat toppers….I’ll definitely be making more of these! They’re so quick and simple and both of these projects used up so much paper scraps and a ton of sticker stash!!

I LOVE these card sets, I was directed to the cutting instructions for them a few years ago now and constantly find myself going back to them again. Here are the instructions by Nathalie: Quick Cards I created this set for the challenge at Designed 2 Delight Delightful Inspirations Blog.

The biggest card was done with a freebie digital stamp from She Stamps by Cheryl

The medium sized card was done with a freebie digital stamp from Designed2Delight Digital Stamps for their first challenge of the month

And finally the mini gift card, I just used a rubber stamp from my stash for the sentiment

I came across these freebie stamps last night at Steady On! and just HAD to use them asap! No bikini’s for this gal, as lovely as the weather has been, I’ll spare the other beach goers and live vicariously through my cards :) haha!! This one was done for The Play Date Cafe and their current challenge is to use the colors red, white and pink, another super fun color combo!

I love pink & black as a color combo, so I just had to play with this challenge. Unfortunately it was my first creative venture in much too long, took me for.ever and really didn’t turn out how I had planned….BUT I got it done, and it got the ball rolling for further creativity! So, here is my card for The Pink Elephant’s Card Challenge #72: Pink & Black.

Finally, some crafty time for me! I created this card last night for Challenge #94 over at Etsy Inspired. The challenge was to create something inspired by the items in Sand Box Studio’s shop. I just loved the owl bag, and the ribbon flowers on some of the bags are so awesome, unfortunately my attempt to recreate them was a huge fail, but I had fun making my little fabric posies instead :) Now, off to do a little more creating before work…

I have been holding onto these photos since last summer hoping I might be able to get my hands on some actual camping themed scrappy supplies. But, I wasn’t able to, and I thought to myself that there will be more camping photos to hang onto soon enough so just scrap ’em already! And I did!

We camp at a site along the river, close enough to town that all of our friends can stop by and visit us and enjoy the fun of camping without the actual sleeping outdoors bit lol! Our last campout at the end of last summer was a busy one, and also the only one I actually remembered to pull the camera out of my backpack!

This first layout I did for Workout #20 at ScrapFIT, the challenge was to use only cardstock, no patterned paper. And I also used sketch #125 at Sketch Inspiration

And this one I did using this sketch at PageMaps….boys!

School is out and I finally have some scrappy time during the week, I’m so excited!! I got this layout done last week for the Page Maps Couture Cardstock Contest, my first layout in months and I am so happy with how it turned out! Hopefully I’ll be back soon to share some more!

I have not created anything new in about a week now, and it’s driving me absolutely nutty!! I went back to work this past weekend after 6 years of not working, what a change! Unfortunately, this means I have to go to bed at a decent hour which cuts into my late night scrappy sessions! Between that, and classes during the week, and now I have come down with some kind of nasty bug, I have been less than unproductive! But, it has been a while since I blogged, so I thought I would pop in and share these Valentine’s Day cards I did a few weeks ago and just got listed in my shop at ShopHandMade.

I usually don’t particularly get into the whole Valentine’s Day “thing” but I have to admit it is really fun to play with hearts….and PINK! LOL! This is a kit I have been working on, and I must say this is my absolute favorite!

Here is the full kit available to purchase. Unfortunately I can’t get the darn PayPal cart working on here, so for now you can purchase at my ShopHandmade shop HERE

This is an add-on to the full kit, which you can download for free HERE!
And here is a QuickPage created with the kit that you can only get by participating in the January Digital Challenge at Ch{all}enge Masters. Entries must be in by midnight EST on Sunday, January 31st!

I have been passing by these photos in my stack for months and I finally made myself get them scrapped! These were all done with sketches from the Sketch A Thon at Scrap-Friendzy. They have been helping me get SO much done this month, and have been getting me to scrap photos I have been putting off for ages! So, here are my 3 layouts that I got done of all our Lake Days photos….

This one was done using a sketch by Chelsea at Sketch Inspiration. While we were watching the parade the people from the Nanaimo bathtub race float came over and lifted their bathtub boat over Austin so that he was in the boat with the pirate. He thought this was pretty cool!!

This one was done using a sketch from Page Maps. Austin loves watching parades, he love to wave at everyone and have them wave back to him :)

This is a two-pager done using another sketch from Page Maps….I rotated it for the second page to fit the orientation of my photos. Austin had loads of fun playing all the games with grandma, and went home with a few little prizes.
